Let’s start with a bit of information about Saskatchewan
Largely due to immigration, Saskatchewan has one of the fastest-growing economies and populations in the country.
The Canadian province of Saskatchewan is in Western Canada, among the Prairies. Agriculture and other industries that use natural resources, like forestry and fishing, are the most important parts of its economy. Saskatoon and Regina are two major cities, and it also has vast stretches of undeveloped wilderness.
The province of Saskatchewan has had great success in attracting new residents. Somewhere in the range of 3,000 and 4,000 newcomers per year were entering the province. The current estimate is 15,000. Considering that there are only a little over a million people in the entire province of Saskatchewan, this is particularly remarkable. Many people who move to Canada choose to settle in this province.
The Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program, which used to be called the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), was set up by the government of Saskatchewan in 1998.
It was initiated to aid in meeting the province’s economic and labor market requirements through immigration.
The provincial initiative in Saskatchewan has been extremely fruitful. Around seven out of ten recent arrivals to the province came through the SINP. Newcomers to the province also have a high chance of finding work, with a rate of about 76%. Over 85 percent of newcomers decide to remain in the province, so retention rates are also quite high.
Many people who are looking to relocate choose to do so in Saskatchewan. Many people believe that the PNP program in Saskatchewan is one of the easiest in the country. Possible reasons for this include the numerous immigration routes it offers potential immigrants.
Subcategories in Saskatchewan range from “enhanced” to “base” and beyond. Saskatchewan Express Entry is a more stringent subcategory of the International Skilled Worker Classification.
When a subcategory is “enhanced,” it means it is in line with the federal government’s Express Entry system, which is used to manage permanent residence applications for the three primary economic class immigration programs in the United States.
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is used by Express Entry to give each applicant a number score. During an Express Entry draw, the top-ranked applicants are asked to fill out a permanent residency application.
If you get a nomination from an enhanced provincial program, which gives you an extra 600 CRS points, you can almost be sure to get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. By completing an Express Entry profile, you can also receive a nomination.
Most of Saskatchewan’s subsets fall into the category of “base streams.” Consequently, they are incompatible with the Express Entry system. Any candidate who receives a provincial nomination must apply to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (IRCC).
